Tuesday says;-]

Im with my pessimistic self tonight.

I am lazy, indolent, more like a sloth. I feel like I am losing hope for reasons that I am not even supposed to fuss about. Last Thursday, I went home depressed and frustrated. That I didn't even dare take the train home because the travel will give me a lot of time to think of my failure. So I took the cab, plugged my earfones in my ears and turned the volume really loud and listened to rock music. My only outlet to vent my depression, frustration and anger.

Last Thursday, I punctured 4 arms and didn't even manage to extract even a microliter of blood. What the hell is wrong with me. I held the needle with courage and caution and managed to sympathize with my patients too, but I didn't extract any. I had to blame my eyesight. My poor eyes who never experienced the joy of a clear and unblurry 20/20 vision.
I asked myself why was I chosen to have this congenital eye disease. Or why was I too hard headed to wear my contacts everyday and my glasses at night when I knew the fact that I will be threatened with blindness after my 18th year?

Now this the price I have to pay. A condition less fit or degrading for my future profession. Friday night a friend texted me. Though we both belong to different courses but our fields are closely related to each other. My friend who is a Public Health student of UP manila experienced the same dilemma. Knowing him the typical industrious student, consistent in academics and the like of what a UP student should be. He texted me about his dilemma's on venipuncture. He and my other friend, (both of them my HS classmates but i knew them since kindergarten) who happens to be his blockmate too is having a hard time in extracting. All this time I thought I was the only one depressed and frustrated.

But, still that didn't help I am still depressed and frustrated and sad. So now I am planning on a lifestyle revamp which includes temporarily not allowing myself to subscribe to Globe's 5 day unlimitxt, and I also have to sacrifice this vice of mine. Yes, I am referring to this surfing vice. I will no longer reload my internet credits unless there is really a need for some online researching. Most of my 'Platinum' time is wasted on ebaying, blogging, friendster updating, facebook posting and everything that involves the what I wanna call the net vice.

By the way try cold rock ice creamery. Their store opened in trinoma this week. Uncle and I decided to have the first try this afternoon. There was no movie viewing this week, since die hard and transformers invaded the cinemas this week. Though I still have the transformers hangover. It was a lot of fun! Steven Spielberg never fails to amaze his fans! Indiana jones 4 must be something to look forward too. It could be really awesome since its a team up the legendary Lucas-Spielberg team up. John Travolta's HAIRSPRAY is a must see too. (i guess?)

About cold rock: Cold rock originated in Australia. Their first store in the Phil opened in Greenbelt/ Glorietta? I sorta forgot the location. Uncle was telling me about Cold stone which he believes is the American Version of Ausie's cold rock. He tried it in States and claimed that Cold stone had larger servings. Su-jean my close campion friend in manila told me that she tried cold stone in powerplant. So theres cold stone in the phil too! The regular size costs more than twice the price of Dairy Queen's largest size treat. But I tell you its worth it. For the first try I got Chocolate Indulgence and Irish Cream. Its a good combination though I wasn't brave enough to experiment on the toppings. Uncle had Cheese cake and double chocolate. To sum it all up. It was superb!
